Kia Ora. I am a Year 6 student in Te Kauru at Paparore School.
My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.
Today i found a skink and i named her Lizo . she has a really tight grip. She escaped from her container. I made her a tunnel out of bamboo she really liked it. i also put in lots of grass , soil , bugs , sticks , rooks , and ham.
Kia Ora Leyton, Lizo looks like she is quite a big skink. Its great that you have made a container home for her and all the special things to go in it. How did you know what a skink needs to live? There are different types of skinks. Do you know what type this one is? I look forward to reading what you find out? Na Mrs Stevenson.
Hi Leyton, how cool to have a pet skink. It looks like a snake! Where did you find it? We have skinks around our house too, but they are too quick to catch.
I agree with Timo, I really like the name Lizo too. I hope Lizo hasn't escaped again. I look forward to meeting Lizo one day when we are all allowed to be out and about!
